Getting back to normal after Christmas

All the Christmas decorations have been put up. You know that song "I cried the day I took the tree down" from the Forgotten Carols...that is me.

But I am THRILLED I got a big or at least a bigger clock for my living room. My kitchen has a big arched window and this is my view from in there...I can see the clock and the tv.

Snowmen and homemade stitched snow heads help me get through January.

On my table I have been burning the yummiest gingerbread tea lights Ben got me for Christmas in the sweetest tea light holder Madi made for me out of glue and kidney beans...I will love that little thing forever!

Jeni - did you do the "winter" stitchery on your table with the snowmen? I love it and would love to know where you got the pattern. BTW, the living room is gorgeous!

Wow, your home is gorgeous! I used to be sad to take down the Christmas ornaments, but now that our house is feeling a little crowded, I'm thankful for the extra room that taking down Christmas gives us!

Happy New Year, Jeni! I hope it will be a wonderful one for you! All of your winter decorations look so cute and cozy! :) I do hope your Christmas was wonderful!

I love the color of gray you used in your living room. This fall I started using soft gray as an accent color with the aqua walls in our room, and was thinking it would be fun to paint our small master bath a light gray...Would you mind sharing what brand and color name of gray you used? I think it would look pretty if I used a shade or two lighter in that same color...

I hope you have a wonderful day! :)
