Art Happens Here

In my room.
We have this seating area in our bedroom and it's my craft area.

Everything in here is old. My desk...a deal from Cindy at The Plum Tree...I think I ended up paying $38. It's old with an enamel top and boy do I love it.

This brown dresser was free...my junking days in Germany. My friend Amber made me the "art happens here" decoration for my craft area.
Here are the fun filled shelves in my old white hutch.

This is my new red basket I just picked up at Hobby Lobby...all baskets were 50% off. It's more than filled up with some beautiful fabrics.

Now this is just a picture of family pictures that hang over my bed. I had seen this in magazines and pottery barn and thought hey I can do that with some white $1 ribbon.

This old Toms chip clip was given to me by Cindy at The Plum Tree. For now it's peppered with my favorite family photos and sits at the top of my craft table.

P.S. Forgot to tell you how much I love your new mantle display for fall. It is so simple and perfect! I bet the kiddos think it's great to have the word bats up there, too! xo

Hey Jen,
I LOVE your craft area! The desk and shelves, the chair~ all of it is so cute! It would definitely inspire some good crafting! :)

I agree with Leslie, by the way! I love your mantle how you decorated it! I was wondering what word you were going to use for the fall season! :) I am not coming up with anything overly inspired so far! :) I hope you are doing well, and having a great week! :)

I love all of it! You should start designing rooms for people! You really know how to place things to make them look there best. I saw that idea in PB too. I am doing something similiar in our room. Glad you are having such a good week off with the kids. I wish you could be here to run the AF half this weekend with us! It would be so much fun to do another race together.

Cute cute! I wish I could have a little tucked away place to craft at. I usually take up the breakfast table and then have to hurry and move everything in time to eat!

Cozy and sweet room! Love the monogram on your dresser. Is it a stitchery or just printed on the computer...simple and cute!
