Giveaway winner and Snowmen/January decorations

Early this morning before school, Ben and Madi thought the whole drawing a winner for my blog giveaway was cool. Here they are folding up all the entries. Ben was the one who wanted to close his eyes and pick the winner........susy over at Everyday Gourmet!!!! Yeah Susy!

Instead of setting these cute snowmen ornaments out at Christmas, I saved them to have something special for January. In the past I didn't always enjoy my house as much in January...I would have just put all the Christmas stuff up and then it would be so cold outside and not very exciting. Now decorating with snowmen and other winter things makes January a little more fun and warm.

I LOVE to stitch! So of course I have some for every season...I like the little snowballs under the tree.

Congrats on the winner! I was hoping but happy for the winner. So maybe you need to open a etsy for stitchery...I bought the muslin and have the printout of the one you shared but have not started...I will though.

Love your winter stuff. I never decorated for winter either...I think I will start looking for winter decor also...I went ahead and put up the Valentine decor so at least it is cosey with that. I want to make a banner and a tussy so we shall see what I do.

Love the snowmen for winter! I love the change on your mantle...now that the holidays are over I am going to pull out that box of PB letters and finally do something creative with them! Stop by when you can, I have something on my blog for you today!

The snowmen are so cute!!

I tend to do the same thing for January, although a lot of my snowmen have been out since December...I just cannot put it ALL away....I have left out some of the greens, holly berries, and snowmen. You are right, the house feels way to bare if you put it all away now.

I LOVE your snowmen and tree. They are too cute! I also LOVE your mantle in your new header....CUTE!! I saw on someone's blog where they had a framed stitchery that said Frosty's First Baby Picture and a snowflake was stitched on it....SOOOO CUTE!

How adorable! I love the snowman tree. Your "stitching" is wonderful.

I feel the same about the decorations. It seems our home is decorated from September until December and then it is bare.
