Saturday

It's just Saturday. But I have done all my important things today and it feels good.

This morning Steve was the last one to get up. When he walked out I was in the kitchen. He came in and asked if I saw Madi. We both crept down the hall so we could both peek. She was on the other side of her bed reading a chapter book aloud...it was just funny...she was all alone and content.

Tonight for dinner we made Pioneer Women's enchiladas. They were alot of work but were soooo yummy and worth every minute.
I had not been very motivated to run lately. It's hard right now. I was doing so good...that's gone and it's HARD! But the other day I was really motivated. My cousin betsy has 5 kids. They are 8, 5, 3 and twins that are 4 months. She has been running everyday and started training for a half marathon...and she had a c-section to get those twins 4 months ago. So if she can put forth the all that effort I can too. I have been running everyday since! Thanks Betsy!!!

We love PW's enchiladas- but there is some serious time investing in them!

Thanks Jeni! Running is the one thing right now that I can measure progress in. It seems like everything else is just at a standstill. I'm just trying to keep everyone fed, clothed, and relatively happy, and so this is one thing I can do for me right now.

Running is just one of those things...hard to get out there, but once you do, it feels so good! Keep up the good work.

P.S. I can't imagine ever being able to get all the things done that you do. I always imagine Grandma Kiehl smiling down at all your cute crafts and delicious food.

And wow, running like you do always amazes me! I enjoy walking, but not running! :)

Hi Jeni,

I just found your blog and love it! You do stay busy and that's admirable.
How exciting to be thinking of moving overseas. I know, easy for me to say but having survived unemployment for almost a year anything looks good to me right now.
Can you post about how you do your lettered frames? I looked back and especially love the small oval top gold frame. Where do you find your frames. I just love that idea for the mantle.
Try to stay warm!
