after school bag

This is my new purse. It was SO easy to make...no pattern needed. At this link thequiltingdiaries.blogspot.com/2009/04/32-minute-messenger-bag-tutorial.html is where you can find the directions...it's just 2 cuts of 1/2 yard of your favorite fabrics. I made this on my dinning room table one day after school last week while Ben and Madi sat with me doing their homework. They were actually impressed seeing this bag come together.

I love the brown~ I can't wait to try making one. It turned out so cute!!! I found Anna's socks at Childrens Place. They have tons of darling patterns right now!

I will have to try that one. And the quilt on the table was a quilt I made. It is one of my favorites to curl up in. The fabric is swell by Urban Chiks for Moda.

Hi Jeni
Just came over from Beth's blog. The skirt you made for her daughter is beautiful and so is the bag you made. You are so talented.
I will pray for your husband's safe return and for fall to hurry up and arrive.
Best Wishes
Lindsay
