New clothes

I think it's fun with each new season to change up the wardrobe with new clothes. Today Ben and Madi wore some new shorts and tees. Here they are bright and early this morning ready to head out the door to school.

Tomorrow Madi is going to wear some new Capri's that I MADE HER! They were pretty easy except for the crotch. I had to have Steve's help thinking in 3D to get it right but I did it. Now I can't wait until morning to get them ready for school.

Last week I was trying to do something new in front of my fireplace...this is what I came up with. Do you decorate in front of your fireplace?

You go Miss Crafty Momma! I can't wait to see Madi modeling her new wardrobe tomorrow!
Bryce's school has a certain date set each year that the kids can start wearing their uniform shorts instead of pants and that was this week so he LOVED going to school in shorts today! It's fun to switch things up, isn't it?
The fireplace spring re-do looks cute!

Great new threads! Love your new display in front of the fireplace. I had fun catching up with you....your birdy stitchery is adorable. So sorry to hear about your daughter having diabetis....sooo hard and your hubby leaving again. I have been eyeing that same saying....I could use it right about now. cherry

I love the colors you chose for the capris! Don't be nervous because you are going to do awesome in the race! I am so proud of how far you have come since January! Who knew that you could do 10 miles. 13 miles really isn't much more then 10. Stay positive and don't focus on what hurts or is tired. Read some great articles on staying motivated. They really help! I can't wait to see you on Friday! I will call tomorrow so we can set up a time to meet for dinner. I just got back from my last 8 mile run. Next week is going to be tough waiting for Saturday to arrive. I am also so excited. This is going to be such a great adventure for us!!!

My goodness those are so HOT! Madi is going to be struting her self in that cute outfit. How talented you are. I just wish I could sew cute things for Lexi.

No fireplace at my home but I want to get me a fireplace mantle without having the fireplace. I am on the hunt for one of those...maybe I will find one soon. Love your decor and if and when I get one I will decorate mine...I think they look better when they are decorated.

Jeni...Have a great weekend! Oh yeah I went to Walmart to see about some of that batting for the stitchery and the girl had no clue what I was talking about...I guess I will have to either go back when someone in that department knows what I am talking about or wait till I go to Macon and to a fabric store. Just so nice that you sent me the pattern to use.

LOVE the capris!!

I don't decorate in front of my fireplace right now because I don't have a "hearth"...just carpet. Maybe in the next house.
