Believe in Spring!

Last night I finished up some "Believe in Spring" cards...it was so fun...it had been a while.
Now I just have to boast a little!
Today I ran 8 miles!!! I was suppose to do 8 miles last week but with Madi it just didn't happen. I did get a couple 3 mile runs in last week and on Saturday I tried to do 8 but it was a flop. So this week on Monday I did 3, on Tuesday I did 4.5, took yesterday off and then Ta-Da today I did it.
Last night after dinner the kids were outside riding their bikes with all the neighbors. When they came in they told me about a new kid...he is from Korea and has a really strange Mexican name something like Ching Yang?...that's what Ben said.

Great job on your running...you should be well prepared when you run your race.

Love the new look of the mantel...I have gotten use to looking at that first when I get on your page.

Also thanks so much for the patterns and I am going to try my hand at it...I will be sure to share with you when I do. Thanks for being so sweet!

Awesome job on the run, you'll be set for your half. I only wish I could run that far right now. Funny story about the kids new friend!

LOL! What your son said, sounds like what my son would have said.

As for those Symphony Brownies, they are very simple.

1 box Duncan Hines Brownie Mix (with or without nuts)
3 large Hershey Symphony Bars with
with Toffee and Almonds

Mix the brownie mix according to the package. Pour half of the batter into a 13x9 pan. Lay the 3 gigantic Symphony Bars across the batter. Pour the remaining 1/2 of batter over the bars. Bake according to brownie package directions. Easy!

Going to check out your blog from that stitchery you mentioned. Tell me what "piece of warm and natural underneath" is? I am not so sure what that is. Can I get that at Walmart? Can you tell I don't do these things often...hehehe
