SNOW in The ATL!

Not only does it not snow in Atlanta but it really shouldn't happen in the month of March. Yesterday we were in the 70's and now look at today. It's fun watching CNN and the Weather Channel and their fun comments because both of those are based here in Atlanta. This is our first snowfall and probably our last this year. Our kids don't even have 'real' winter coats but they had fun playing outside.
Steve gave the neighbors across the street a good laugh when he went out to help the kids roll snow in hopes of making a snowman.

Ben and Madi came in to warm up by the fire before heading back outside.

Everyone was starved after playing, so the kids voted for pancakes for a nice warm snack.

Looks like crazy fun weather! My bro lives in Atlanta near CNN downtown and I'm sure he isn't making snowmen. Isn't this weather crazy? Here in Oklahoma we had 70s this week and in the 30s today. It is supposed to warm up about 10 degrees each day this week and be near 80 by the end of the week. I do hope your kids enjoy today! Love your blog!!!

Caroline's Godparents and their kids were stuck on the tarmack in Atlanta for a LONG time today before finally flying out, due to iced engines! It's been mild here and then freezing~ crazy weather patterns!
So, did B and M get maybe a mini snowman made today I hope?!?
Fun times~ xo, L

We live about 45 min North West of Atlanta and got nothing but cold winds. My kids have been praying for snow days! I really like the priceline idea! What a sweet husband. I knew that they give great prices on plane tickets, because I have used them before only for that though. Thanks for sharing your fun ideas!

OMGoodness we were in Macon and so loved the snow. We didn't get snow in Dublin so it was very exciting to know we were in Macon having the thrill of snow...can you tell I was exciting just like the kids.

Looks like yours also had a great fun day and oh the pancakes look yummy for a snow day.
